Athabasca River Crossing in Alberta using HDD overcomes significant challenges in its’ successful installation
Entec congratulates Orleans Energy Ltd. and XXL Engineering of Calgary, Alberta on this unique and challenging crossing in the Fox Creek area of Alberta. The HDD contractor, The Crossing Company, and the Entec On-Site Management team used a ‘team-based’ approach in successfully navigating through dynamic ground, aquifer and drilling conditions with quick and decisive action that allowed this “intersect” crossing to be completed.
